I was debanning a Clinton era Maadi. If yours is like mine it was turned down pretty low. The end near the crown was .465"....but near the front sight block it was .500". So after threading this was a perfect solution.

Threaded and installed this on my Chinese SKS and found it reduced muzzle jump greatly and is very affordable, and keeps rifle overall length down. love it.
Perfect for a rethreaded Maadi
