Upper Handguard Rail for VZ58.

Material: Aluminum with black hardcoat.

The upper handguard is designed to be the lightest, lowest mounting railed upper handguard on the market. It mounts optics as low as possible, while still accepting all designs of mil-spec 1913 optic mounts. Uses 4 set screws (included) for fine adjustment, allowing it to retain sight zero, while still allowing for quick one-pin removal. The set screws can also be used to compensate for slightly crooked gas blocks, common on many rifles.

It is deliberately designed not to meet flush with lower, this allows for lighter weight, better ventilation of hot barrel, less chance of hand pressure affecting zero, and the ability to look better with any variety of lower handguards. Uses standard VZ58 takedown pin, plunger, and spring (all included) for proven quick takedown, with out the chance of pin popping past detent and becoming lost. This upper handguard comes already assembled and ready to mount.

Excellent upgrade for the upper handguard. Mine came with the pin missing, so I called them and they were extremely helpful in fixing my order. Very good and respectable service. Originally, I had replaced the original beaver barf upper with a synthetic one, but found that he new one wiggled too much, which was a problem considering I had a red dot on it. So I upgraded to this and am very pleased. It is a very tight fit on my vz2008. So tight that I had to use a screwdriver to pry it off, and that was without tightening the 4 tightening screws. I have no doubt that it will not budge once the screws are tightened. Very happy with this purchase.

I mounted this as well as the slovak brake and it is amazing. This allowed me to mount a primary arms micro dot which cowhitnesses the sights perfectly. Made my VZ 2008 the best gun i own and well worth the money. If you have been hesitating..... DONT!!!!

I really like this product. It fits very snug on my VZ2008. Sits nice and low and fully co witnesses with bushnell trs-25 or Primary arms fixed base microdot. I have yet to fire test it, but I have no doubt it will hold up. Fast shipping. Courteous Service. Thanks CNC!
